Thanks for this amazing recipe. Can’t wait to try it this Thanksgiving. This is my first time roasting turkey. Other recipes call for injecting butter solution to make the turkey moist. Have you tried that method? Do you think it will be ok if I add that step in your recipe? Thanks!

i am going to try for Thanksgiving this year and let you know how it goes. We will be using a 16.73 lb turkey. My question is how much should I increase the spice amounts for this size of turkey and once marinated, could we fry it instead of putting in oven?

Hi Andie, while I haven’t tested this myself, I don’t see why not. I think this spice mix would work well with turkey any way you cook it 🙂 Please let me know how it goes – very curious!

I know it won’t be quite the same, but can the same spice mix be used on a turkey in the instant pot?

I would butcher the turkey to fit in the instant pot& broil the pieces after to crisp the skin.

In reply to Nirvana. You can use a different loaf or probably even just slices of bread if you'd like. You just need some bread between the turkey breast and the pan.

Ciabatta is quite expensive where I’m from especially if it’s just going to be thrown out… What alternative can I use? Thanks
